This is a unique position for candidates with relevant experience from strategic and operational technology management. Technology Manager Research and Development heads the Software team which consist of 17 highly qualified Software Developers.

The ideal candidate:
  • has in-depth knowledge and experience in software development and management
  • has proven leadership skills with the ability to build efficient teams
  • feels a desire to improve products and processes
  • has solid analytical capabilities
  • holds a Master’s degree in technology or equivalent
  • demonstrates good communication and presentation skills, both in Norwegian and English
  • is motivated by satisfying customer needs 
Main responsibilities:
  • Coordinating, prioritizing and following up activities within the R&D Software team in a matrix project/line organisation structure
  • Ensure appropriate competence relative to all ongoing and planned activities involving R&D Software
  • Secure efficient allocation of personnel to product realization projects, product maintenance tasks and research
  • Manage functional content and bugfix to 3 releases pr year for all installed machines
  • Contribute to and communicate technology strategy
  • Ensure new product development is in line with defined system architecture
  • Manage relations with development partners
