Due to high activity levels within our core industries, strong growth in business volume, and increasing regulatory requirements, Fearnley Securities is looking to hire a Compliance Officer to join our Compliance team in Oslo.
We are seeking a candidate with excellent academic records and an interest for regulatory compliance and risk control. The candidate must have strong analytical skills, be exceptionally motivated, be a critical thinker, structured and possess considerable working capacity. Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language, written and oral, is a prerequisite as the position also includes responsibilities related to the firm’s subsidiary in New York.
The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of relevant experience from a similar function at another securities brokerage house or bank, an audit and assurance firm, law firm, or related professional service firm. The candidate can expect to be offered varied and challenging tasks in a dynamic work environment, including regulatory compliance controls, monitoring, reporting, analysis, and employee training. The position reports to the Head of Legal & Compliance.
