The Team:

The R&D team in EcoOnline is made up of more than 60 developers across five countries, and we’re looking to grow our team with an integration lead.

Responsibilities:

EcoOnline’s portfolio of products is growing, and the integration lead will be tasked with exploring ways they can work better together, as well as how we can better integrate with external and our customers’ systems.

EcoOnline is growing fast through mergers and acquisitions. You and your team will also have an important role when it comes to discover and integrate synergies across different acquired products in potential different technology stacks to help EcoOnline promote a unified and integrated platform and customer experience.

You will lead a small team with members from several of our R&D offices, so it’s important that you have excellent communication skills in addition to your technical expertise. EcoOnline takes pride in being multi-cultural and multi-language, and you should be fluent in both Norwegian and English.

The integration lead will cooperate with both internal and external customers, and you should be experienced and comfortable with client communication.

Experience:

  • Five or more years integration-related experience using APIs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • API development expertise.
  • Experience with API documentation and testing tools such as Postman, OpenAPI and Swagger.
  • Knowledgeable about API gateways, and preferably some experience implementing those. 
  • Automated API testing.
  • Degree educated.

 

Knowledge in the following technologies are considered an advantage:

  • Laravel, our chosen PHP framework.
  • .Net
  • PostgreSQL.
  • AWS, especially CodeDeploy and CodePipeline.
  • Agile project management, including agile pods.
  • Test driven development.
  • We use things like Git, GitHub, Jira, Vue.js.
