At AK Jensen Norway, we are looking for a dedicated and results-oriented Execution Services Associate to join our team. You’ll play a crucial part in delivering execution services, prime brokerage support, and technical expertise to institutional clients worldwide.

About the Role

As an Execution Services Associate, you will be responsible for executing orders across various asset classes, providing prime brokerage support, and troubleshooting electronic order flow. This client-facing position involves a mix of European and US market hours, offering a fast-paced, international working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute Direct Market Access (DMA) and Algorithmic (Algo) orders across global markets.
• Provide prime brokerage support across multiple asset classes.
• Monitor and support electronic order flows.
• Troubleshoot FIX and API routing issues.
• Oversee onboarding and lifecycle management of brokerage clients.
• Contribute to the continuous development and optimization of systems and routines.

Required Qualifications

• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Academic Excellence: A proven track record of strong academic performance. 
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, particularly oral communication, is essential.
• Experience: 2-5 years of relevant work experience in financial services or related fields. Recent graduates with excellent grades are also encouraged to apply.
• Proactive Approach: A self-driven work style with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• Integrity: High ethical standards and a commitment to professional integrity.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Global Mindset: Comfortable working in an international, multicultural workplace.
