We are looking for developers to join our team that develops the next generation of Digital services for TOMRA reverse vending machines, built on Amazon Web Services. This is a focused and dedicated team that has the freedom to choose the right technology for the tasks at hand. The Tomra digital team are building apps and services based on real time data from 60.000 reverse vending machines, located all over the globe. We develop innovative solutions for internal users, customers, and end users of reverse vending machines.
All developers have responsibility for the product lifecycle from design and implementation to operations. We also motivate and expect you to be involved in establishing the long-range technical strategy as well as building, maintaining and constantly innovate a state of the art digital product offering and a global production infrastructure. You will automate and improve our deployment, monitoring and operational systems to maintain a fast and reliable release rhythm. We also strive to have a high degree of automation and continuous delivery in our services. You will have the possibility to work within one or more of these areas;
As a backend developer, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of services in our cloud-based platform. This includes implementing communication protocols between the backend services and our reverse vending machines, persistence and analysis tooling for machine information and a service-API layer that is consumed by different components.
As a frontend developer, your main focus will be to deliver web applications for browsers and mobile, as well as native apps. This includes developing user-friendly frontend applications for our broad user group, spanning from technical experts to consumers. We’re looking for an experienced developer with genuine interest for user interaction, design and quality.
As a SysOps developer, you will be responsible for the long-range strategy as well as building, maintaining and constantly innovating a state-of-the-art and global production infrastructure. You will automate and improve our deployment, monitoring and operational systems to maintain a fast and reliable release rhythm.
We are open to speak to and hire developers at different seniority levels, but we expect you to have at least 3 years of relevant development background.
