Are you looking for a new opportunity and want to create value and make an impact? We are now looking for a new Senior Tax Controller to strengthen our Financial Quality & Assurance team (FQ&A).
The role of the Senior Tax Controller is to undertake all aspects of tax transactions across the Nordics. This includes Tax reporting for the bank, preparation of tax and review VAT calculations. You will also be responsible for the coordination and delivery of customer tax reporting in the bank. The role also entails supporting the business by participating in projects and ad hoc requests.
The FQ&A team is responsible for the quality in the banks internal controlling, quality in reporting and in the financial controlling of the bank. You will be a part of a highly qualified team with a lot of various task and you will have close cooperation with group tax.
Areas of responsibility:
Responsible for corporate income tax calculations and reporting for SCB AS, including its branches and subsidiaries
Responsible for the coordination and delivery of customer tax reporting
Review VAT calculations and reporting for SCB AS, including its branches and subsidiaries
Contribute to continuous development of relevant process’ (e.g tax calculations reporting etc), including process and deadlines, and working closely together with several group functions on the content
Coordinating and participating in tax audits and reviews
Perform role of liaison between Group Tax, Accounting, Reporting for analysis, interpretation, and guidance on tax and VAT related matters.
Assist Group Tax with transfer pricing documentation preparation for the Nordics and work closely with HQ and different business lines on transfer pricing related matters.
Participate in ad-hoc projects and matters
Main deliveries:
Responsible for the monthly and yearly corporate tax reporting for the Bank
Coordination and delivery of customer tax reporting for the Bank
Solve tax and accounting issues
Quality control, qualitative commenting and filing of regulatory reporting
Calculation and follow up of VAT keys
Analytical reviews

Competencies and skills:
Solid knowledge of tax and VAT laws and regulation
Solid knowledge of IFRS
Ability to clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple and logical manner
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Experience and education:
5+ years’ work experience from similar positions and/or audit
Master Degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting, state-authorized public accountant is an advantage
