Senior Accountant

Do you want to be part of making a difference? Nykode Therapeutics ASA is growing, and we are now looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team.

As a Senior Accountant you will be the subject specialist for the payroll area, act as an adviser internally and externally for our accounting agency. Act as a payroll controller and participate in the period end within the areas you are responsible for.

You will be part of developing and improving our department to become a forward-looking, value-creating and innovative accounting function.

The position is based at Forskningsparken in Oslo, and reports to the Accounting Manager.

Your main responsibilities:

• Ensure quality in the payroll process and delivery
• Support with month-end and year-end close process
• Support with internal controls
• Manage travel expenses
• Pension
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliation
• Annual salary reconciliation (RF-1022)
• Participation in audits
• Participation in development, implementation and follow-up of new finance routines, processes and policies within area of responsibility

Your qualifications are:
 

• Higher degree in accounting, finance or audit, minimum Bachelor's degree
• Preferably 4+ years relevant experience from similar position
• Fluent in English and Norwegian, both verbally and written
