Are you Coolco's new Application Manager?
The application team is responsible for the group’s IT applications. This involves implementing, optimizing, upgrading, integrating and maintaining the application to best support the company’s business operations.
The application managers are experts on the applications and plays an important role in optimizing how the company utilizes IT applications.
Important Responsibilities:
We are going to implement Microsoft Dynamics 365. To begin with, you will be a part of the implementation team and later on become our Application Manager. As our Application Manager, some of your responsibilities will be to maintain the ERP application in accordance with relevant procedures and engage and follow up external consultants when required. You will also familiarize with business processes and provide advice on how the ERP application should be configured and used to optimally support the business.
It goes without saying that you have interest in IT and applications, therefore it is important for us that you stay updated on new functionality released in Dynamics 365. You will also evaluate and provide advice how the business can utilize new functionality. Another task of yours will be to resolve incidents and problems in the applications and in integrations between the applications; implement changes as required, testing and completing document system procedures.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor or master's degree in computer science or similar
- Relevant experience can compensate for lack of education
Competency Requirements:
Fresh graduates with a burning desire to optimize business processes by utilizing technology are encouraged to apply on this position.
If you are an experienced Application Manager we will be looking for a few competencies;
We hope you are experienced with ERP application management, preferably Dynamics 365 and SQL. That you have an ability to understand business processes and translate this to an optimal configuration in a system. You must be fluent in spoken and written English and have good communication skills and able to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical personnel. It is a plus if you have experience from the shipping industry, SOX and ISO 27001, however, this is not a requirement.

Cool Company Management AS is a newly formed company which has been spun off from Golar LNG. The company owns 8 LNGC carriers and operates additional 21 vessels. Some of them being FSRU and some LNGC vessels. Cool Company has offices in Oslo, London, Kuala Lumpur and Split with IT employees in Oslo and Kuala Lumpur.
