Wilhelmsen is building out their capabilities related to enterprise architecture and project advisory services within the Finance Technology function and is in this context looking for a Business Technologist to join a team of experienced professionals who are passionate about innovation, technology and transformation. The position will work cross-functionally with the IT teams both across the organisation and towards business stakeholders.
What will be some of your responsibilities?
As a Business Technologist, you'll be a key player in helping Wilhelmsen Finance leaders bridge the gap between strategy and execution. You will participate in finance related projects where you will own or contribute to project deliveries, ensuring that both processes and systems are aligned with the GBS architectural standards and methodology. Solution scalability, security and integrity are key factors on which you will act as a sparring partner for both GBS and Business implementations. Moreover, you will be able to deliver into key Wilhelmsen transformation projects and solutions, optimizing processes and creating synergies to ensure that GBS can improve and extend the services we deliver. Our technology stack combines multiple different technologies where the ERP solution, IFS plays a central role in the system landscape.

To be successful in this role, we believe that you are structured and ambitious and can drive project activities with a high level of independence. You will be working in the intersection of business/finance and technology, and it is important to master both the process and IT perspectives as well as collaboration with our key stakeholders.
You have a strong experience with financial processes and ideally hands on experience from positions within finance functions/departments, strong experience with project management and project deliveries where technology is a key component. You are experienced with ERP systems and/or other financial support systems. We think you will succeed in this role if you are innovative, manage to take a holistic perspective, are proactive and a team player.
You are proficient in English, written and verbal with great communication skills
