Assuming the responsibility for development and coding work in Microsoft Business Central, an ERP system that supports all our business processes within Active Brands, you will work together with our internal IT functional consultants and Business process owners. In addition, you will also be an important contributor to support our digital strategy in general and play an important role in our adoption of new technology and system solutions.
 

As a Developer in Active Brands you will have several key responsibilities:

You will develop and maintain our ERP solution, supporting all business functions. This work will require you to participate in doing analysis, solution design, and development work, as well as handling incoming change and development requests, prioritizations, and follow-ups. Your task will be to ensure seamless integration between Business Central and other interfacing systems. This includes managing code using GitHub / Azure DevOps and implementing automated deployment pipelines, as well as ensuring compliance with security standards.

With your work, you will help departments work smarter and make effective use of our systems. You will help us elevate our cooperation with external technical system partners, and become the expert that others turn to for ERP and IT-related projects.

And to do the work, the following experience and skills might come in handy:

• Bachelor’s degree within Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field (relevant experience will be considered)
• In-depth understanding of Dynamics 365 (BC or NAV) architecture and functionalities
• Proficiency in AL programming language
• Knowledge of APIs (SOAP/REST) for integrating ERP solutions with external systems
• Experience deploying Microsoft Dynamics solutions in Azure, on-premises, or hybrid environments
• Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, or other version control systems
• Familiarity with business processes in key areas such as Finance and Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Inventory and Warehouse Management, Sales and Purchase processes
• Fluency in both Norwegian and English (both written and spoken)
