Senior accountant for YES-EU AS with Microsoft Business Central experience

YES-EU is looking for an experienced senior accountant with Microsoft Business Central experience. The company has been growing fast and is in the process of building the team that will manage the finances of YES-EU AS.

As a candidate you will need to have the relevant financial education and minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting and tax reporting activities from A to Z in medium to large companies. You are a certified accountant (statsautorisert regnskapsfører) with knowledge of IFRS. You are proficient with Microsoft Office, with excellent skills in Excel. Due to the company´s size, you will be handling a wide range of tasks, and it is expected that you can manage these independently without losing your focus or motivation.

As part of the company´s finance team you take pride in delivering thorough and high-quality solutions and naturally contribute to the team´s collaboration with a positive attitude with high integrity. You will report to the company´s Finance Director in various reporting tasks, taking sole responsibility for accounting activities. You thrive in organizing and working in a structured manner and naturally take responsibility for your tasks. This position has responsibility to ensure that accounting process maintains with high quality and in compliance with regulations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Take responsibility for all accounting activities from A to Z
• Management of accounts receivable and payable
• Perform monthly and quarterly closing
• Perform annual closing and prepare annual report together with the Finance Director and company’s advisors
• Participate and support Finance Director during the company’s interim and annual audit
• Preparing VAT returns
• Coordinate with external payroll team
• Handling inquiries from customers and colleagues
• Various ad hoc tasks

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with Navision or Microsoft Business Central is an advantage 
• Broad experiences within accounting includes bookkeeping, accrual, reconciliation and internal and public reporting
• Experience in annual closing and audit
• Deep knowledge in accounting regulations and Norwegian GAAP practice and be familiar with IFRS
• Bachelor education within accounting, finance, audit, administration
• Professional language proficiency in both Norwegian and English is required
