In this role, you will be given a lot of freedom and responsibility, as we are looking for someone who is service-minded and keen to provide that little extra to our business users, while at the same time working with the latest technological solutions.
Assuming the responsibility for development and coding work in Microsoft Business Central, an ERP system that supports all our business processes within Active Brands, you will work together with our internal IT functional consultants and Business process owners. In addition, you will also be an important contributor to support our digital strategy in general and play a role in adopting new technology and system solutions.

As a Developer you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and maintain Business Central supporting all business functions

  • Analysis, solution design, and development work

  • Handling incoming change and development requests, prioritizations, and follow-ups

  • Ensure seamless integration between Business Central and other interfacing systems

  • Manage code using GitHub / Azure DevOps and implement automated deployment pipelines

  • Ensure compliance with security standards, including proper use of DevOps

  • Help departments work smarter and make effective use of our systems

  • Maintain technical system documentation for respective systems

  • Cooperation with external technical system partners

  • Participation in ERP and IT-related projects

 

As a Developer we expect that you have the following experience and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree within Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field (relevant experience will be considered)

  • A minimum 3 years of relevant programming experience

  • In-depth understanding of Dynamics 365 Business Central architecture and functionalities

  • Proficiency in AL programming language

  • Knowledge of APIs (SOAP/REST) for integrating Business Central with external systems

  • Experience deploying Business Central solutions in Azure, on-premises, or hybrid environments

  • Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, or other version control systems

  • Familiarity with business processes in key areas such as Finance and Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Inventory and Warehouse Management, Sales and Purchase processes

  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
