The Business Development team you will be a part of are proactive in seeing, proposing and implementing new ideas to drive commercial performance and strategy. We work with maximizing the value of Hydro´s power portfolio for our activities in Europe and Brazil.

As our new Business Technology Advisor, you will play an important role in the interaction between technology and business in Hydro Energy. You will be a strategic advisor and have a key role in shaping the future of Hydro Energy. Furthermore, you will, among other things, work to establish the infrastructure for Hydro Havrand and other new business ventures within Norsk Hydro. You will report to the Head of Enterprise Architecture in Group Information & Technology.


Responsibilities:

• Together with the Principal Enterprise Architect, contribute to early phase technology and business architecture for new business ventures mainly towards Hydro Energy (REIN, Havrand, Batteries etc.)
• Advise Business stakeholders on architecture and technology for different scenarios and operation model
• You have an important role in establishing infrastructure for Havrand and other new business ventures within Norsk Hydro
• Engage with other relevant stakeholders to provide high quality and holistic advice 
   

Qualifications: 

• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience within business or IT
• IT/Business Degree or Equivalent
• Good understanding of the sphere between technology and business
• Background from consulting, renewables, innovation or manufacturing
• Exposure to greenfield developments and startup/scaleup thinking is a bonus
• Desire to work with renewable energy and innovation
