Work tasks:
As our new Backend Developer, you will design, develop and implement backend/cloud services software through quality coding on assigned solution platform. In addition to the traditional developer tasks, this role also features work tasks within architecture.
As a Backend Developer in DEFA you will have great freedom in your work, and there is a lot of freedom to create modules on your own. There are some preferred programming languages and technologies, like Java and other JVM based solutions, but there is no strict technical requirements beyond that so you will have many possibilities to further develop your interests and competence.
Qualifications:
- Solid competence through work experience or from the passion for coding
- Experience with Java and/or other JVM based solutions (Scala, Kotlin, etc.)
- Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot and Play
- It is an advantage to have experience with the following technologies: EST, JSON, Node JS, PostGraphile, GraphQL, Akka, PostgreSQL
- Knowledge within web/API -development and databases is welcome

- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical information, verbally and in writing
